ELAC IC VT61W

The IC-VT61W is a 6.5-inch, two-way in-ceiling speaker from the ELAC “Vertex I” series designed for home theatre and music listening, featuring both a woofer and a tweeter in a dedicated angled baffle. It incorporates a 30° angled driver module (woofer + tweeter) which enables the sound to be directed toward the listening area—enhancing imaging and soundstage compared to a flush-mounted ceiling unit.
The speaker uses a 1″ soft-dome tweeter and a 6.5″ polypropylene cone woofer, together with a custom multi-element crossover aimed at smooth driver transitions and extended frequency response. The included grille is paintable and magnetic, and the overall design is intended to virtually “disappear” into the ceiling for minimal visual impact, making it suitable for home theatre installations where aesthetics matter.
