Description
Edifier R990BT: Desktop Speakers That Fill a Room
Two-way drivers in MDF cabinets, 24 W RMS of digital amplification, Bluetooth 5.4 and dual RCA inputs make the R990BT an easy upgrade from laptop or monitor speakers.
Built for Better Sound at Your Desk or in a Medium Room
Built-in laptop and TV speakers sound thin and lack bass. A pair of active speakers needs no external amplifier, so you can plug in, pair your phone and enjoy a fuller sound straight away.
What It Is
The Edifier R990BT is a pair of 2.0 active speakers. Each cabinet houses a 1-inch silk dome tweeter and a 4-inch long-throw mid-low driver in an MDF enclosure with a flared bass reflex port.
Key Features
- 1-inch silk dome tweeter: Smooth, clear highs.
- 4-inch long-throw mid-low driver: Delivers punchy mids and bass for its size.
- 24 W RMS digital amplifier: Includes Dynamic Range Control (DRC) and fills a medium-sized room.
- Bluetooth 5.4: Stable range, fast pairing and low-latency streaming with SBC support.
- Dual RCA inputs: Connect two devices at once, with no cable swapping.
- ConneX app presets: Choose Music, Movie or Gaming effects, or create your own.
Why the Edifier R990BT Stands Out
A MDF cabinet reduces resonance, which keeps the sound cleaner than thin plastic enclosures. The app lets you tailor the sound to what you are playing, and the line-in ports keep a TV and a computer connected together. It is a simple, compact system for work and entertainment.
