Description
Audio Pro A28 Active Bookshelf Speaker Pair
Audio Pro A28 is an active bookshelf stereo speaker pair for music and TV listening. It combines built-in amplification with network playback, Bluetooth and a TV ARC connection in a compact two-speaker arrangement.
Why Choose Audio Pro A28?
The A28 is a bookshelf model rather than a floorstanding tower. Place the pair on suitable stands or stable furniture and use the required inter-speaker connection. Audio Pro documents AirPlay 2, Chromecast and its supported multiroom workflow for this generation. Check the correct app and firmware for the supplied A28; the newer A28 W is a separately identified generation with its own software features.
Key Features
- Active bookshelf pair: integrated amplification for stereo playback.
- TV ARC input: supported television audio and control route.
- Wireless sources: network streaming and Bluetooth playback.
- Multiroom support: compatible Audio Pro, AirPlay 2 and Chromecast routes.
Best Suited For
Stereo music and television listening where integrated amplification and streaming reduce the need for separate electronics. Plan the left and right positions for balanced listening and identify the exact TV audio connection. Network music, Bluetooth and TV audio are separate source routes with their own configuration requirements.
Setup and Connection Guide
Position the pair on stable supports, complete the specified inter-speaker connection and connect mains power as directed. Add the system to the supported network app and test one source first. For TV sound, use the ARC-capable television socket and appropriate TV output settings, or the documented optical route. Begin at a moderate volume and adjust spacing and distance from nearby walls. A connected pair still needs power and its speaker-link arrangement even when the music source is wireless.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is A28 a tower speaker like A48?
No. A28 is the compact bookshelf stereo model. A48 is a floorstanding design. Choose the format around placement space, listening distance and the room’s sound requirements.
Can I connect a turntable directly to the RCA line input?
Use a turntable with a suitable phono preamp, or add an external phono stage. A line input does not automatically provide the gain and equalisation needed for a raw phono-cartridge signal.
Are music-service subscriptions included?
Do not assume paid music accounts are included with the hardware. Service availability and account requirements depend on the provider, region and supported playback route.
