Description
Ahuja CS-663T: 6 Inch 100 V PA Ceiling Speaker
A 6 inch full range ceiling speaker rated 6 W at 100 V, with easy power tap selection and quick spring-clamp mounting.
Built for 100 V Line Public Address Systems
Large buildings need even, intelligible sound in every room without running thick speaker cable back to the amplifier. 100 V line speakers solve this by using a built-in line matching transformer with selectable power taps.
What It Is
The Ahuja CS-663T is a 6 inch full range PA ceiling speaker rated 6 W at 100 V. Power taps are selected by changing the receptacle on the 100 V line matching transformer, and an aesthetically designed plastic grille hides the cone.
Key Features
- 6 inch full range driver: Clear speech and background music from a single driver.
- 6 W at 100 V: Designed for 100 V line public address systems.
- Easy tap selection: Change the receptacle on the line matching transformer to set the power tap.
- Spring-loaded clamps: Mount the speaker quickly in a ceiling cut-out.
- Plastic grille: An aesthetic grille that blends into a ceiling.
- Commercial use: Intended for hotels, shopping malls and offices.
Why the Ahuja CS-663T Stands Out
Ceiling speakers are most effective when they are evenly spaced, and the CS-663T makes that simple with its easy mounting and tap selection. It disappears into the ceiling while delivering clear speech coverage.
Planning a 100 V Line System
A 100 V line system lets you connect many speakers to one amplifier over long, thin cables. Add up the tap settings of all speakers on a line and keep the total below the amplifier’s rated power, leaving some headroom. Choose a higher tap where you need louder coverage and a lower tap where the background level is enough. Always switch the amplifier off before wiring, check polarity, and use a qualified installer for ceiling and wall work. Matching tap settings to the room is the key to even, clear sound.
