A public address system fails when the amplifier cannot cover every zone or cannot be trusted during a power cut. Ahuja builds PA amplifiers for Indian conditions, with protection circuits and a battery changeover so announcements keep going.
What It Is
The Ahuja LXA2000 is a professional stereo power amplifier. It delivers 400 W + 400 W RMS at 8 ohm, 700 W + 700 W at 4 ohm and 1000 W + 1000 W at 2 ohm, or 1400 W (8 ohm) and 2000 W (4 ohm) in bridged mode, with a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz.

- Protection and cooling: Temperature, DC, RFI, short circuit and overload protection, a built-in limiter and a temperature-controlled variable-speed fan.

Installation and Safety Notes
Place the amplifier on a stable, ventilated surface or in a rack with open space around the vents, and never cover the air passages. Match each speaker load to the correct output terminal: use the 4 ohm or 8 ohm outputs for low-impedance speakers and the 70 V or 100 V outputs for constant-voltage line systems, and keep the total connected load within the rated power. Route microphone and line cables away from mains cabling to reduce hum, and switch the unit off before changing speaker connections. For large venues, have a qualified installer plan and wire the system.
