Description
Ahuja AMX-812: 8-Channel PA Audio Mixer
An 8-channel PA audio mixing console with gain, bass, treble, pan, echo and level controls on every channel, plus a built-in echo section.
Built for Churches, Halls and Event Sound
Many PA mixers are either too basic for real events or too complex for volunteers. The AMX-812 gives each channel clear controls and an echo section without needless complexity.
What It Is
The Ahuja AMX-812 is an 8-channel PA audio mixing console. Each channel has a 1/4 inch phone jack selectable for mic or line, accepting balanced and unbalanced signals, and there is an independent stereo input through separate left and right 1/4 inch jacks.
Key Features
- Mic or line on every channel: 1/4 inch phone jacks accept balanced and unbalanced signals.
- Stereo channel: Independent left and right 1/4 inch inputs for music sources.
- Full channel controls: Gain, bass, treble, pan, echo and level on each channel.
- Clip LED: A clip indicator on each channel helps you set safe levels.
- Echo section: Delay, repeat and level controls for adjustable echo.
- Tape section: Record and playback facility for simple recording and replay.
Why the Ahuja AMX-812 Stands Out
The AMX-812 keeps things practical: every channel has the controls you need and a clip LED, and the echo and tape sections cover the most common live and rehearsal needs without extra boxes.
Setting Up the Mixer
Start with all channel gains and levels low, connect your microphones and sources, and raise each gain until the clip LED only occasionally flickers. Then bring up the level faders and adjust the bass and treble to taste. Use the echo sparingly on speech so words stay clear, and keep microphone leads away from mains cables to avoid hum.
