Description
Audio Pro A48 Active Floorstanding Speaker Pair
Audio Pro A48 is an active floorstanding stereo pair with built-in amplification, network playback and TV ARC connectivity. It brings television audio and music listening together in a two-speaker system.
Why Choose Audio Pro A48?
Audio Pro specifies a 320W total amplification arrangement for A48, with AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Bluetooth source options. The floorstanding cabinets offer a larger installation format than A28. Complete the specified speaker-link and power connections, then choose the TV and network routes. This listing identifies A48 rather than A48 W; do not assume the newer W-generation app or room-correction features.
Key Features
- Floorstanding stereo format: two cabinets for left/right playback.
- Integrated amplification: powers the supported speaker arrangement.
- TV ARC connection: routes audio from a compatible television.
- Network music: AirPlay 2, Chromecast and supported multiroom playback.
Best Suited For
Stereo music and television listening where integrated amplification and streaming reduce the need for separate electronics. Plan the left and right positions for balanced listening and identify the exact TV audio connection. Network music, Bluetooth and TV audio are separate source routes with their own configuration requirements.
Setup and Connection Guide
Position the pair on stable supports, complete the specified inter-speaker connection and connect mains power as directed. Add the system to the supported network app and test one source first. For TV sound, use the ARC-capable television socket and appropriate TV output settings, or the documented optical route. Begin at a moderate volume and adjust spacing and distance from nearby walls. A connected pair still needs power and its speaker-link arrangement even when the music source is wireless.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the newer A48 W generation?
The listing identifies A48. A48 W is a separately named generation. Verify the exact product label and app requirements before relying on W-specific software features or room correction.
Can I connect a turntable directly to the RCA line input?
Use a turntable with a suitable phono preamp, or add an external phono stage. A line input does not automatically provide the gain and equalisation needed for a raw phono-cartridge signal.
Are music-service subscriptions included?
Do not assume paid music accounts are included with the hardware. Service availability and account requirements depend on the provider, region and supported playback route.
