B&o Beosound A9 Gold Tone

Bang & Olufsen Beosound A9 Gold Tone Connected Speaker

Bang & Olufsen Beosound A9 Gold Tone is a mains-powered connected-speaker listing for home music playback in the Gold Tone finish. The A9 family’s circular form provides a distinct furniture-like placement option for an appropriate room system.

Why Choose Bang & Olufsen Beosound A9 Gold Tone?

Choose the A9 around its placement and the actual generation’s streaming and connection features. Earlier A9 models carry the Beoplay name, while the fifth generation is Beosound A9. The store entry does not establish a complete type number, so this description avoids assigning generation-specific amplifier figures, sockets or voice-assistant functions. Confirm the rear connection-panel label and selected finish before choosing firmware, a television connection or optional wall mounting. A photograph of the front alone does not identify the hardware generation.

Key Features

• Distinct circular design: planned home listening placement.
• Powered audio product: integrated speaker system with mains operation.
• Listed finish: Gold Tone catalogue selection.
• Version-led setup: match the actual A9 type number and connections.

Best Suited For

Home music systems where a powered network speaker suits a permanent listening position. Plan the mains connection, room placement and household network before adding streaming services. Compatible stereo or multiroom functions need the supported companion products and configuration; a wireless source does not mean the speaker is battery powered.

Setup and Connection Guide

Place the speaker on stable support with the clearances recommended for its design and connect the specified mains supply. Add it through the supported app, configure the network and play a familiar source at moderate volume. Complete room calibration where offered, then compare listening positions and adjust sound settings for the space. Configure compatible speaker grouping only after standalone playback works. Check the exact hardware version before selecting accessories, firmware or a television connection path.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I distinguish the fifth-generation Beosound A9 from earlier A9 models?

B&O identifies Beosound A9 5th Gen by type number 3090 and a USB-C socket in its connection panel. Earlier generations have other type numbers; check the rear label instead of inferring generation from colour or price.

Can a mains-powered network speaker run outdoors without a power connection?

A wireless music connection is not a battery specification. Use the documented power arrangement and environment for the exact product. Choose a rechargeable portable speaker when battery operation is required.

Are paid streaming-service subscriptions included with the speaker?

Hardware support for a service does not supply a paid account. Service availability, subscription needs and supported features depend on the provider, region, software and the playback route used.
