Almando Multiplay Surround Decoder For Active Speakers

Almando Multiplay Surround Decoder for Active Speakers

Almando Multiplay Surround Decoder is a surround-audio integration device for connecting a television and other sources to compatible active speakers, including appropriate Bang & Olufsen systems. Its purpose is to bridge source connections and speaker-control requirements within a home-cinema installation.

Why Choose Almando Multiplay Surround Decoder?

Almando has produced several generations and variants. The existing listing does not establish the exact hardware version, so HDMI features, streaming services and wireless-speaker support should be checked against the supplied unit before purchase. Do not assume that features from the latest model apply to every decoder.

Key Features

• Surround integration: brings television audio into an active-speaker system.
• B&O application: supports suitable Powerlink-based installation arrangements.
• Source switching: helps organise compatible connected audio sources.
• System-specific setup: allows the decoder to be selected around existing equipment.

Best Suited For

Home-cinema owners and installers integrating compatible active speakers with a television and multiple audio sources.

Setup and Connection Guide

Write down the exact TV, speaker models and source devices before selecting the decoder. Check the supplied generation’s HDMI audio-return support, speaker-control wiring and output arrangement. Plan cables for the actual connectors and follow the manufacturer’s setup instructions. A connector that physically fits does not guarantee the necessary signal level or speaker-control compatibility.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it drive ordinary passive speakers directly?

It is not a conventional speaker power amplifier. Passive speakers need appropriate amplification. Confirm the exact TV, active-speaker models, connections and decoder generation as one system before ordering.

Does every version have wireless speaker support?

No. Wireless-speaker capability is version dependent. Confirm the exact model and any WiSA-related hardware rather than assuming all Multiplay Surround Decoder units have the same facilities.

Are streaming services the same on every generation?

Do not assume that they are. Confirm current streaming support and firmware for the supplied hardware before choosing the decoder around a particular phone ecosystem or music service.
