Designed for camera workflows, it includes a built-in timecode generator and HDMI sync support to help keep audio aligned with video. Rugged and portable, the FR-AV4 is a practical solution for videographers, content creators, and audio professionals who need reliable multichannel capture in the field.
- 32-bit float recording + dual A/D converters: 133 dB wide analog dynamic range for capturing audio across a wide range of levels.
- Ultra HDDA preamps on 4 XLR/TRS combo inputs: Ultra-low noise preamps (EIN -127 dBu) on all four inputs for clean capture with mics and line sources.
- Built-in mixer + 6-track recording to SDXC: Mix up to four inputs to two outputs and record six tracks (four tracks + stereo mix) directly to an SDXC card.
- Timecode + HDMI sync for video workflows: Built-in timecode generator with HDMI and 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack timecode In/Out, plus USB timecode out and Atomos Bluetooth sync (requires optional AK-BT2).
- 4K/8K HDMI pass-through + control + wireless options: Enables AV sync via HDMI clock with cascade and record-trigger control; wireless audio monitoring and app control via TASCAM RECORDER CONNECT (requires optional AK-BT2).
