Description
JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2 Black – The Karaoke-Ready Party Starter
The Encore Essential 2 is the PartyBox designed for houses, terraces and farmhouse weekends rather than rental halls: a compact party speaker with JBL Pro Sound at 100 watts, a dynamic lightshow, up to 15 hours of battery, and dedicated microphone and guitar inputs that turn any gathering into karaoke night or an impromptu jam. Auracast lets it pair in stereo with a second unit – or join a whole chain of JBL Auracast speakers – as the party outgrows the room.
Key features
- JBL Pro Sound with 100 W RMS output
- Up to 15 hours of playtime per charge
- Dynamic lightshow with strobe effects synced to the beat
- Wired microphone and guitar inputs for karaoke and live performance
- Auracast multi-speaker connection – stereo pair or chain many speakers
- IPX4 splash proof for poolside and outdoor use
- Bluetooth and USB playback
- Portable design with integrated handle
Mic and guitar inputs change everything
Most portable speakers only play recordings. The Encore Essential 2 invites participation: plug in a microphone for announcements and karaoke, add a guitar, and the party has performers instead of a playlist. For family functions, society events, school fetes and café corners, that single feature is the difference between background music and the main event – and it is the reason this model outsells plainer speakers with similar wattage.
Fifteen hours, splash-proof, lightshow included
The battery is sized for the full arc of an event – setup playlists, the party itself, and the wind-down – on one charge. IPX4 sealing handles poolside splashes and sudden drizzle without a scramble for cover, and the built-in lightshow projects glowing patterns and strobes that give a living room or terrace a club’s energy with none of the rigging.
Auracast: start with one, grow the system
One Encore Essential 2 covers a room; two paired in stereo cover a hall; Auracast chaining extends further by linking multiple compatible JBL speakers wirelessly. You buy for today’s party size and rent nothing for tomorrow’s – the system scales with the guest list instead of being replaced by it.
For hosts who want music, lights and a microphone in one portable box, the PartyBox Encore Essential 2 is the most complete party speaker at its level.
