Samsung 43 Inch Neo QLED 4K Smart TV (UA43M71HAULXL) with Mini LED Backlight and Tizen OS

The Samsung UA43M71HAULXL brings the Mini LED backlight of Samsung’s Neo QLED range to a 43 inch screen — a size that suits bedrooms, studio apartments and smaller living rooms where a large panel would dominate the space. The 4K panel pairs Supreme Mini LED Dimming with HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG support, while the Mini LED Processor 4K upscales broadcast and HD content towards 4K clarity. A 30W 2.0 channel speaker system with Object Tracking Sound Lite and the Tizen smart platform, with Alexa and Bixby built in, make it a complete, self-contained TV for everyday viewing.

Mini LED backlight, explained

A conventional LED TV lights its panel with a small number of large backlight LEDs. Mini LED shrinks those LEDs dramatically, so far more of them fit behind the screen and they can be grouped into much finer dimming zones. On this TV, Supreme Mini LED Dimming drives those zones scene by scene: highlights stay bright without bleeding into the dark areas around them, which is exactly where regular LED TVs tend to look grey and washed out. Add Motion Xcelerator for cleaner movement and the Contrast Enhancer working on every frame, and the picture holds together in dark film scenes and bright afternoon sport alike.

Sound that follows the action

The 2.0 channel speaker system delivers 30W in total. Object Tracking Sound Lite ties the audio to movement on screen, so a car crossing the frame or a ball travelling across the pitch is matched by sound that shifts with it. Adaptive Sound reads the content type and adjusts the output to suit, keeping dialogue clear at low volume late at night without constant trips to the volume button when the scene changes.

Smart features and gaming

Tizen puts the major streaming apps on the home screen, mirrors your phone to the big screen, and takes voice commands through Alexa or Bixby. For gaming, Variable Refresh Rate reduces screen tearing, ALLM drops the TV into its low-latency mode automatically when a console is detected, and HGiG support helps HDR games tone-map the way their developers intended. Three HDMI ports cover a console, a set-top box and a soundbar over eARC, and there is Ethernet on board if your Wi-Fi is crowded.

At 7.3 kg without the stand and under 970 mm wide, the UA43M71HAULXL also wall-mounts neatly in compact rooms — a practical route to Mini LED picture quality without giving up half the wall.
