Apple 2024 Mac Mini Desktop Computer With M4 Chip With 10‑CORE Cpu And 10‑CORE Gpu: Built For Apple Intelligence, 16gb Unified Memory, 256gb Ssd Storage, Gigabit Ethernet. Works With Iphone/ipad

Apple Mac mini with M4 Chip

This Apple Mac mini is built around the Apple M4 chip with a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, configured as listed with 16 GB of unified memory, a 256 GB SSD and Gigabit Ethernet. It packs that performance into a compact 12.7 cm square aluminium enclosure designed to sit quietly on a desk and work with an existing display, keyboard and mouse, including continuity features with iPhone and iPad.

Key features

• Apple M4 chip with 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU
• 16-core Neural Engine rated at 38 trillion operations per second
• 16 GB unified memory as listed for this configuration
• 256 GB SSD storage as listed for this configuration
• Hardware-accelerated ray tracing in the GPU
• Front USB-C ports and headphone jack for easy everyday access
• Three Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet at the rear
• Support for up to three external displays

Performance for desk work and creation

The M4 chip combines four performance cores and six efficiency cores, so demanding tasks such as photo editing, code compilation and video timelines get full speed while background work runs efficiently and quietly. The 10-core GPU includes hardware-accelerated ray tracing and handles graphics-heavy applications, external high-resolution displays and media playback with ease. For audio and video desks in particular, the Mac mini offers a small-footprint computer that can drive a multi-display setup without the size, heat or noise of a traditional tower.

Unified memory and Apple Intelligence

Apple’s unified memory architecture gives the CPU, GPU and Neural Engine access to one shared pool of memory instead of separate allocations that must be copied between processors. In this configuration that pool is 16 GB, which suits everyday productivity, development, photo work and moderate video projects. The 16-core Neural Engine, rated at 38 trillion operations per second, accelerates machine-learning features in macOS and creative applications, and the system is built for Apple Intelligence features as they roll out through macOS updates.

Connections and displays

For the first time on Mac mini, two USB-C ports and the 3.5 mm headphone jack sit on the front, where they are easy to reach for drives, cards and headphones. The rear carries three Thunderbolt 4 ports at up to 40 Gb/s, an HDMI port and Gigabit Ethernet for a wired network connection, as listed for this model. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless networking and peripherals. Display support extends to up to three external displays, depending on resolution and connection, allowing a compact desk to grow into a wide multi-screen workspace.

Size, software and everyday fit

The enclosure measures 12.7 x 12.7 x 5.0 cm and weighs 0.67 kg, so it can sit beside a monitor, mount behind a display or move between rooms and studios with minimal effort. It runs macOS and works with iPhone and iPad through Continuity features such as AirDrop, Universal Clipboard and Handoff, which makes it a natural centre for an Apple-based workflow. A built-in speaker covers alerts and casual playback, with proper monitoring or speakers connected over USB, Bluetooth or the headphone output for serious listening.

This Mac mini configuration suits home and studio desks that need strong single-box performance in the smallest possible footprint, with the memory, storage and networking exactly as listed: 16 GB, 256 GB SSD and Gigabit Ethernet.
