Amazon Echo Show 11 Black

Amazon Echo Show 11 Black – 11-Inch Smart Display with Alexa and Spatial Audio

The Echo Show 11 is Amazon’s 11-inch smart display, built around a Full HD touchscreen, spatial audio and Alexa. It sits on a kitchen counter, desk or bedside table as a hands-free hub for music, video, video calling and smart home control, answering questions, showing recipes step by step and running daily routines by voice.

Amazon’s Omnisense technology gives the Show 11 ambient awareness – presence detection, temperature sensing and adaptive brightness and colour – so the display responds to the room rather than only reacting to commands. A built-in smart home hub with Zigbee, Matter and Thread support lets it connect to and control compatible devices directly, with no separate hub to buy.

Display and entertainment

The Full HD touchscreen is sized for following a recipe across the kitchen, watching the news over breakfast or keeping a photo slideshow running through the day, and it doubles as a digital photo frame when idle. Adaptive brightness and colour adjust to the light in the room. Music, radio and podcasts play through two full-range drivers and a 2.8-inch woofer with spatial audio that fills a room rather than pointing at one seat, and video streaming apps cover films and shows in the kitchen or study.

Alexa and Omnisense

Alexa handles the everyday work by voice: timers, reminders, shopping lists, weather, news briefings and control of lights, plugs and thermostats. Omnisense adds context – the Show 11 can detect presence, sense room temperature and recognise household members with Visual ID, so content and routines can adapt to who is in the room. Presence detection also drives practical routines, such as turning lights on when someone walks in.

Smart home hub and calling

With Zigbee, Matter and Thread Border Router support built in, the Show 11 sets up and controls a wide range of smart home devices directly, and Alexa routines tie them together into automated sequences that run on schedules, voice commands or sensor triggers. The centred 13 MP camera with auto-framing keeps you in shot during video calls as you move around the kitchen, and Drop In and announcements connect rooms and households.

Privacy and placement

Echo devices include privacy controls such as a button that electronically disconnects the microphones and camera, along with in-app management of your voice recordings. The Show 11 measures 255 x 182 x 127 mm and weighs 1.3 kg, runs from the included 30 W power adapter, and connects over tri-band Wi-Fi 6E, so it stays responsive even in homes full of connected devices.

For a kitchen, study or bedside, the Echo Show 11 in black combines a large, bright display, room-filling sound and a proper smart home hub in one device that the whole household can use by voice.
