Lg Cinebeam HU710PB 4K Portable Projector | 500 Ansi Lumens

LG CineBeam Q HU710PB – 4K RGB Laser Portable Projector

The CineBeam Q HU710PB is LG’s design-led portable projector: a compact 4K UHD unit with an RGB laser light source, a 360-degree rotating handle that doubles as a stand, and webOS built in for streaming without any external box. At 1.49 kg it moves from living room to bedroom to terrace as easily as a speaker, yet projects a true 4K image with colour coverage beyond the DCI-P3 cinema standard.

Key features

• 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution from an RGB laser light source
• 500 ANSI lumens with 450,000:1 contrast ratio
• 154% DCI-P3 (typical) colour gamut – wider than the cinema standard
• HDR10 and HLG support
• webOS smart platform with streaming apps built in
• Auto screen adjustment – keystone and focus align the image automatically
• Apple AirPlay 2, HomeKit and screen share for wireless casting
• 360-degree rotating handle stand; weighs just 1.49 kg

RGB laser colour

Most small projectors use a blue laser or LED with colour conversion; the CineBeam Q uses separate red, green and blue lasers. That is how it reaches 154% of the DCI-P3 gamut – deeply saturated, accurate colour that keeps films looking rich even at modest brightness. The trade-off of any 500-lumen projector is that it rewards a darkened room; in return you get colour volume that brighter lamp projectors often cannot match.

Designed to be moved

The rotating handle is the idea at the centre of the product: carry it by the handle, then rotate it to become the stand and aim the image – even onto a ceiling for lying-in-bed viewing. Auto screen adjustment squares the picture wherever you point it. Bluetooth support allows dual audio output to wireless speakers or headphones, and the built-in 3 W speaker covers casual use.

Connections

An HDMI input with eARC takes consoles and players at full quality, and USB-C ports handle DisplayPort video from laptops and phones as well as power delivery. webOS covers Netflix, Prime Video and other major services directly, with the Magic Remote-style pointer interface LG TV owners already know.

Terrace cinema and sound

The CineBeam Q is at its best after dusk: a light wall or portable screen, a film from webOS, and its own speaker for casual viewing. For bigger occasions, Bluetooth dual audio output sends sound to a portable speaker pair for proper stereo, while the 1.49 kg body and handle make the trip to the terrace a one-hand job. Store it indoors like any quality optic – the laser engine itself is maintenance-free.

For design-conscious homes that want cinema colour in a projector that looks like an object, not equipment, the CineBeam Q is in a class of its own.
