Logitech K580 Slim Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard – White

This Logitech K580 is the White, off-white finish of Logitech’s slim multi-device keyboard, made for people whose typing moves between a computer and a phone or tablet during the day. It holds two connections at the same time, the included USB Unifying receiver on one channel and Bluetooth Low Energy on the other, and dedicated Easy-Switch keys jump between them instantly. A cradle built into the top of the keyboard stands a phone or small tablet in front of you, so messages and notes stay visible while you type replies on a proper keyboard. The pale finish brightens a home desk and pairs naturally with light-coloured laptops and tablets.

Made for the multi-device desk

The K580 answers a familiar frustration: typing a long message on a phone screen while a full keyboard sits in front of you. Pair the phone or tablet over Bluetooth, keep the computer on the receiver, and the same keys serve both. Switch to the phone channel to reply to a message or type up notes, then switch back to the document on your computer. The cradle holds the second device at a readable angle, and the keyboard detects whether it is talking to a Windows or macOS system and applies the matching shortcut behaviour, so there is no relearning when you change device. ChromeOS, iOS, Android and Linux devices are also supported for basic typing.

Slim body, complete layout

Many compact keyboards drop the number pad to save space; the K580 keeps it, which matters for anyone who enters figures, marks up spreadsheets or works with accounts. The keys sit low in a body just 21.3 mm thick, giving a typing posture close to a laptop keyboard and a quiet action that will not disturb a household or a shared office. The board measures 373.5 x 143.9 mm and weighs 558 g with batteries fitted, compact enough for smaller desks and easy to carry to another room, while feeling stable and planted in use.

Power and wireless dependability

The K580 runs on two AAA batteries, supplied pre-installed, with a rated life of up to 24 months. An auto-sleep feature stretches that further by putting the keyboard to sleep when it is not being typed on. With no rechargeable cell to top up, the keyboard is always ready, and a battery change is a once-in-years event. The Unifying receiver offers a simple, robust connection for your main computer, and Bluetooth covers the growing number of devices that have no USB port to spare. A 10 m range keeps the connection reliable across a room, whether you type at a desk, from an armchair or while presenting.

In White, the K580 brings a lighter look to the same practical formula: two-device switching, a device cradle, a full layout with number pad and years of battery life. It is a sensible centrepiece for a home office, study desk or family computer where one keyboard is expected to handle every screen in the room.
