This is a 2-way in-wall speaker designed for both music and home-theatre applications, providing high-quality sound while integrating flush with the wall. It features a pivoting 1″ aluminium-oxide dome tweeter which allows for aiming the high frequencies to optimize imaging and clarity. The woofer is a 6.5″ mineral-filled polypropylene (or mineral-filled poly) cone which offers strong midrange and bass reproduction in a relatively shallow mounting depth. The design includes a paintable, micro-perforated magnetic grille and thin bezel so the speaker becomes visually unobtrusive in the décor, plus it has an IP55 rating for dust and moisture resistance, making it suitable for some high-humidity or semi-outdoor installations.
