This is a premium 5.1 home-cinema speaker system comprised of five compact satellite speakers plus a powered subwoofer (the “Sub Air”).
The satellite speakers use Focal’s patented “Flax” cone technology — a flax-fibre sandwich diaphragm — which is claimed to give improved definition, intelligibility (especially of dialogue) and better spatialisation. The system is designed for flexible installation (on furniture, wall-mounted, ceiling) and aesthetics — the satellites have a high-gloss lacquered finish and a compact footprint. The subwoofer (Sub Air) is wireless (transmitter included) enabling more flexible placement without running long cables, making setup easier in living-room environments.The black finish version (as you specified) offers a sleek look suitable for modern home cinema setups.
