The MX Spy Guard 4 Way is a multi-socket extension board for powering a small audio, video or computer setup from a single wall outlet. With 4-way universal sockets in one strip, it lets you plug in an amplifier, a mixer, a speaker set, a television or a computer system without hunting for extra wall sockets or stacking adaptors. A built-in switch and indicator make it easy to power the whole strip up or down in one action, which is handy at the end of a session or a working day.
Why Choose MX Spy Guard 4 Way?
Most setups grow socket by socket: a mixer here, a powered speaker there, a charger, a display. This strip gathers those plugs into one tidy strip, so the back of the rack or desk stays organised and each plug is easy to reach. The universal sockets accept the common Indian plug types used by audio and video equipment, and the strip layout keeps bulky adaptors from blocking their neighbours more than necessary. For a home studio, a classroom, a small office or a place of worship, the MX Spy Guard 4 Way is the simple answer to running out of sockets.
Because the strip is a single unit, it is also easier to route safely: one mains lead to the wall, instead of several loose extension leads. Keep the strip where air can move around it, do not cover it with cloth or paper, and do not overload it; the total load of everything plugged in should stay within the strip and the wall circuit it is fed from.
Key Features
4-way universal sockets: The MX Spy Guard 4 Way provides 4-way sockets in one strip, so several pieces of equipment can share a single wall outlet.
Single-strip convenience: One mains lead serves the whole setup, keeping cable runs shorter and tidier behind desks, racks and television stands.
Switch and indicator: Power the strip on and off from its switch, with an indicator to show at a glance whether the strip is live.
For audio, video and computer gear: A natural fit for mixers, powered speakers, displays, computers and chargers that live together in one setup.
Tidy, accessible layout: Sockets arranged along the strip so plugs can be added or removed without moving the whole unit.
Everyday durability: Built for daily switching on and off in homes, studios, classrooms and small offices.
Best Suited For
The MX Spy Guard 4 Way suits home studios, classrooms, small offices, shops and home entertainment setups where four or more devices share one corner. It is also a useful spare for event and installation work, where a reliable strip is often the difference between a tidy rack and a tangle of loose leads.
Setup and Connection Guide
Place the strip on a stable surface with its sockets accessible and its mains lead free of sharp bends. Plug the strip into a wall outlet, then plug your equipment into the strip one device at a time, starting with the lowest-power items. Switch the strip on and check the indicator, then power up each device in turn. If anything trips or the strip feels warm, switch everything off, unplug the heaviest device, and check the total load before trying again. Never daisy-chain one extension strip into another, never cover the strip, and keep it away from water and heaters.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many devices can I plug into this strip?
The strip has 4-way sockets, but the safe limit is set by total load, not just socket count. Add up the power draw of everything you plan to connect and keep it within the rating of the strip and the wall circuit.
Can I use this strip for audio equipment?
Yes. Amplifiers, mixers, powered speakers and source devices are typical loads for a strip like the MX Spy Guard 4 Way, provided the total load stays within rating and the strip is not overloaded with heaters or other high-power appliances.
Should I switch the strip off when not in use?
Yes, switching off at the strip is good practice. It removes standby draw from everything connected and gives you one clear off state for the whole setup.
