The base and the switch

The heavy table stand does two jobs. The switch in the base is engineered for more than 25,000 cycles and can be programmed at installation for the behaviour the room needs: push-to-talk for chaired meetings, push-to-mute for coughs and side conversations, push on/off latching, or low cut on/off for controlling rumble. The LED square shows the microphone status at a glance, so a chairperson can see across the table who is live. Internal cabling is well isolated against electromagnetic interference, including mobile phone frequencies.

Connection and powering

The set connects through a gold-plated 3-pin XLR output with an impedance of 600 ohms or less, feeding any mixer, conferencing processor or PA input that provides phantom power between 9 and 52 V to IEC 61938, drawing under 3 mA.
