Description
Epson EH-TW740 Full HD Home Cinema Projector
The Epson EH-TW740 Full HD Home Cinema Projector is an affordable way to get a huge Full HD picture at home, with 3,300 lumens of 3LCD brightness and images up to 386 inches. The Epson EH-TW740 Full HD Home Cinema Projector is simple to set up, with Miracast wireless display, the iProjection app and a long-life lamp rated at 6,000 hours normal and 12,000 hours Eco, which Epson frames as up to 18 years of a film a day. It is the value entry point to Epson home cinema.
Why Choose Epson EH-TW740 Full HD Home Cinema Projector?
Big-screen value is the whole pitch: a 3,300-lumen Full HD image that stays bright in a living room, a 1.35x digital zoom for placement flexibility, and wireless display so a phone or laptop can be on screen without cables. The Epson EH-TW740 Full HD Home Cinema Projector keeps running costs low with its long lamp life, and its compact 2.7 kg white body suits a shelf or a small ceiling mount.
Key Features
- 3,300 lumens Full HD brightness: 2,200 lumens Eco, 16,000:1 contrast for clear, bright images

- Miracast and iProjection: wireless display from compatible phones, tablets and laptops

Best Suited For
The Epson EH-TW740 Full HD Home Cinema Projector is best suited for living rooms, bedrooms and casual home cinema setups where a large Full HD image is wanted at a modest price. It fits first-time projector buyers, families, and rooms where the projector sits fairly close to the screen.
Setup and Connection Guide
Place the projector 1.21 to 1.63 metres from the screen for a 60-inch image (further for larger sizes), connect a player over HDMI, or cast wirelessly over Miracast from a compatible device. Use the digital zoom and plus-minus 30-degree keystone controls to fit the picture, and connect external speakers through the audio output where the built-in 2 W speaker is not enough. Keep the projector ventilated for full lamp life.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the TW740 a laser projector?
No. The Epson EH-TW740 Full HD Home Cinema Projector is a lamp projector; one comparison site wrongly lists a laser source, but the Epson specification is a 210 W UHE lamp.
What is the difference between the TW740 and the TW750?
The TW740 offers 3,300 lumens with a 1.35x digital zoom and one HDMI input, while the TW750 offers 3,400 lumens with a 1.2x optical zoom and two HDMI inputs. The Epson EH-TW740 Full HD Home Cinema Projector is the simpler, lower-priced of the pair.

The 210 W UHE lamp lasts 6,000 hours normal and 12,000 hours Eco.
