Bose Omnijewel Wall Mount

Bose OmniJewel Wall Mount Bracket

The Bose OmniJewel wall mount is the steel bracket kit made for Bose’s OmniJewel speakers, the compact satellites and centre channel of the Lifestyle 600 and 650 home entertainment systems. Those speakers are designed to disappear into a room, and leaving the centre channel on a shelf or TV unit works against that intent; the wall mount positions it at the screen, above or below the display where dialogue belongs, fixed flush and discreet. The bracket is sold for satellite pairs or as a dedicated centre-channel bracket depending on the version, in hardware matched to the speaker it carries.

Key features

• Steel wall bracket made for Bose OmniJewel speakers
• Positions the centre channel at the screen for clear dialogue
• Unobtrusive, flush mounting that suits the OmniJewel design
• For Lifestyle 600 and 650 OmniJewel systems
• Satellite-pair and centre-channel versions per Bose’s range
• Keeps cables and hardware discreet in a finished install

The centre channel belongs at the screen

Dialogue is mixed to the centre channel, and it anchors to the picture only when the speaker sits close to the screen. A centre OmniJewel resting on a low cabinet fires at knees and coffee tables; wall-mounted directly above or below the display, its output reaches the seating at ear level and voices lock to the faces on screen. That placement is the mount’s whole purpose, and it completes the acoustic design Bose intended for the Lifestyle systems.

Made for these speakers, not adapted to them

OmniJewel speakers are unusually small and unusually shaped, and generic speaker brackets are neither. This bracket is engineered around the OmniJewel enclosure, holding it securely at the correct attitude with hardware proportioned to the speaker. Steel construction keeps the fixing rigid, and the mount’s profile keeps the speaker close to the wall, preserving the clean, installed look that is the reason for buying into the OmniJewel concept at all.

Fitting notes

Fix the bracket to a sound wall surface with appropriate fixings for the wall construction, confirm the speaker is fully seated and secured before letting go of it, and route the speaker cable so it neither strains the connection nor crosses the bracket’s moving parts. Check the centre channel’s aim at the main seating position, and re-check the fixing after the first days of use as part of a finished installation.

Satellites benefit too

The same logic lifts the satellite channels: OmniJewel satellites placed on the wall at the correct height and spacing image far better than satellites balanced on bookcases at whatever height the furniture offered. A matched set of Bose brackets keeps every speaker in the system at a deliberate position, which is what a surround layout is: five deliberate positions, not five accidents.

If your Lifestyle system uses OmniJewel speakers, this is the bracket Bose made for them: the centre channel at the screen, the satellites placed properly, and nothing bulky in sight.
