Bose UB-20 Series II Wall/Ceiling Bracket (Black)

Bose UB-20 Series II Wall/Ceiling Bracket (Black)

The Bose UB-20 Series II is the official wall and ceiling bracket for Bose cube speakers, in black. It mounts a single cube speaker from a Lifestyle, Acoustimass or CineMate system flat to a wall or overhead on a ceiling, and allows horizontal and vertical adjustment so the speaker can be aimed at the listening area after installation.

The bracket is cast aluminium, which keeps it rigid and free of the flex and resonance that plastic brackets can add, and its low-profile design holds the speaker close to the mounting surface for a discreet finish. For surround channels especially, ceiling mounting on UB-20 brackets is how many Bose systems were designed to be installed: speakers above and behind the seats, angled down toward them.

Why aimable brackets matter for cube speakers

Bose cube speakers rely on placement and aim more than most: the Direct/Reflecting designs use the room’s surfaces as part of the sound, and surround cubes only localise effects correctly when they point where the system calibration expects. A bracket that locks the speaker in a fixed, wrong direction wastes that design; the UB-20’s two-axis adjustment lets the installer set the angle once, tighten it, and leave the speaker exactly where the sound was tuned to come from. It also keeps the speaker up out of reach and off furniture, which matters in homes with children and in commercial spaces alike.

Where it fits

Home theatre installs with Bose cube systems, commercial spaces running Bose speakers overhead, restaurants and retail floors with ceiling-mounted cubes, and replacement of damaged original brackets. The full specification is in the Additional Information table on this page.
