BenQ RE8601 86-Inch 4K UHD Interactive Display

BenQ RE8601 86-Inch 4K UHD Interactive Display – The Classroom and Boardroom Centre

The RE8601 is the large-format interactive display at the centre of BenQ’s education and meeting-room range: an 86-inch 4K UHD touchscreen with infrared multi-touch, the EZWrite cloud whiteboard, wireless screen sharing and a germ-resistant, eye-care-certified panel. It replaces the projector-and-whiteboard pairing with a single bright surface the whole room can read, annotate and present on – in daylight, without dimming blinds or warming up lamps.

Key features

• 86-inch 4K UHD panel readable from every seat in the room
• Infrared multi-touch for writing, annotation and collaboration
• EZWrite cloud whiteboard built in – lessons and sessions save to the cloud
• InstaShare wireless casting from laptops, tablets and phones
• Germ-resistant anti-glare glass for shared touch surfaces
• Eye-care panel: flicker-free with low blue light
• Built-in speakers for classroom and meeting audio
• Designed for education and corporate collaboration duty

Why 86 inches changes the room

Legibility is mathematics: at classroom and boardroom depths, body text on slides and documents needs a large, high-resolution surface to survive the back row. The RE8601’s 4K resolution keeps fine print and spreadsheet detail intact at 86 inches, and its direct-lit panel stays bright and contrasty in lit rooms where projectors fade. Teachers and presenters stop apologising for the screen.

Touch that teaches and presents

Infrared touch lets multiple users write and annotate simultaneously with fingers or styluses, over any content – documents, browsers, connected laptops. EZWrite turns the panel into a cloud whiteboard: start a lesson or a workshop on the screen, save it, and reopen it from anywhere. Annotation over live content is the workflow that makes interactive displays earn their wall space, and this one is built around it.

Health features schools actually specify

Shared touchscreens are touched by hundreds of hands a week; the germ-resistant glass is specified for exactly that environment. For eyes, flicker-free operation and low-blue-light modes address the hours students and staff spend facing the panel. These are checklist items in institutional tenders, and BenQ’s RE series was designed with those tenders open on the desk.

Plan the panel as the room’s hub – connect your computer, camera and conferencing kit around it – and the RE8601 becomes the surface every lesson and meeting naturally gathers at.
