Samsung UA43DU7000 43-inch Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV

Samsung UA43DU7000 43-inch Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV

The Samsung UA43DU7000 is a 43-inch Crystal UHD television built around Samsung’s Crystal Processor 4K. At this size it suits bedrooms, study rooms, smaller living rooms and commercial displays where a big-screen flagship is more than the space needs, while still delivering a genuine 4K panel, HDR support and Samsung’s full Tizen smart platform. The design is Samsung’s Slim Look with three bezel-less sides, so the picture runs close to the edges of the cabinet on a simple pair of flat feet.

Picture processing is handled by the Crystal Processor 4K, which drives colour mapping, contrast enhancement and 4K upscaling. Broadcast channels, older set-top boxes and standard-definition streams are upscaled towards 4K rather than shown soft and unprocessed, which matters on a screen this size because upscaling artefacts are easy to spot at normal viewing distances. HDR content is supported with HDR10+, and tools like Mega Contrast, UHD Dimming and the Contrast Enhancer work on dark and bright areas of the frame to keep shadow detail readable without washing out highlights.

Key Features

• 43-inch LED panel with 4K (3,840 x 2,160) resolution
• Crystal Processor 4K with 4K upscaling, HDR and HDR10+ support
• Motion Xcelerator processing on a 50Hz panel for smoother sport and action
• 20W 2-channel audio with Object Tracking Sound Lite, Q-Symphony and Adaptive Sound
• Tizen smart platform with Bixby, Samsung TV Plus, SmartThings and Matter hub built in
• Gaming support with Auto Game Mode (ALLM), VRR and HGiG
• Three HDMI inputs with eARC, plus USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2

Sound That Follows the Action

The built-in 20W two-channel system uses Object Tracking Sound Lite, which positions audio effects in line with the movement on screen using virtual top channel audio, so a passing car or a pan across a landscape carries a sense of direction rather than sitting flat in the centre. Adaptive Sound adjusts the audio profile to the content being watched. If you later add a Samsung soundbar, Q-Symphony lets the TV speakers keep playing in combination with the bar instead of switching off, filling out the soundstage from both sources.

Smart TV and Gaming

Tizen carries the major streaming apps, a web browser and Samsung TV Plus free channels, while the built-in SmartThings and Matter hub lets the TV act as the control point for compatible smart-home devices. Apple AirPlay covers casting from iPhones and Macs. For consoles, Auto Game Mode (ALLM) switches the TV into its low-latency settings automatically when a game starts, and VRR plus HGiG support round out the gaming feature set at 4K 60Hz over HDMI.

The DU7000 is a sensible route into 4K for a second room, a bedroom or a compact main setup: a current-generation Crystal Processor, real HDR10+ support and the full Tizen platform in a 43-inch size. The complete technical list is in the Additional Information table on this page.
