Bang & Olufsen Beosound Core Wireless Music Streamer — Black

Bang & Olufsen Beosound Core Wireless Music Streamer — Black

Beosound Core Streamer adds supported network music playback to compatible Bang & Olufsen audio equipment through a compact connectivity hub.

Why Choose Beosound Core Streamer?

This listing identifies the original Beosound Core, which can provide music streaming and supported multiroom operation after network and app setup. It is distinct from the newer Beoconnect Core. The newer unit’s HDMI eARC, USB-C and other generation-specific facilities must not be copied into this product description. Match the original Core’s actual connections to the intended speaker or Shape system, and confirm any necessary cabling or mounting accessory separately.

Key Features

• Original Beosound Core connectivity hub.
• Supported Wi-Fi music streaming and multiroom use.
• Setup through the Bang & Olufsen app.
• Black finish identified in the listing.

Best Suited For

Adding supported network music playback to a compatible audio installation. The streamer supplies and controls an audio signal; the connected active speakers or a suitable power amplifier provide the speaker-driving stage. Plan the actual input and output connections, volume-control route and supported software before ordering. Similar product names across generations do not guarantee the same connectors.

Setup and Connection Guide

Identify the original Beosound Core on its product label and follow its own connection guide. With equipment levels reduced, connect it to the supported speaker or amplifier input using the appropriate cable arrangement. Supply power and add the unit through the Bang & Olufsen app, following the network setup prompts. Check available software updates and verify the selected output, volume control and music service in a short playback test. Internet access, subscriptions and service availability remain separate requirements. When integrating with Beosound Shape, follow the matching system documentation and confirm any required bracket or installation accessory for that generation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Beosound Core the same product as Beoconnect Core?

No. They are different generations. Confirm the original Core’s product label and connection diagram rather than relying on HDMI eARC or USB-C features documented for Beoconnect Core.

Can a streamer drive ordinary passive speakers directly?

Not without an appropriate power-amplification stage. Match its audio output to active speakers or a suitable amplifier.

Will every streaming service stay available forever?

No. Service support can depend on firmware, region, accounts and the service provider. Confirm the required playback route when planning the system.
