IK Multimedia iRig Pre HD Digital Microphone Interface
The IK Multimedia iRig Pre HD Digital Microphone Interface is a digital XLR microphone interface for iPhone, iPad, Mac, PC and Android devices, converting a studio microphone to high-definition digital audio. The IK Multimedia iRig Pre HD Digital Microphone Interface records at up to 24-bit/96 kHz, so a favourite condenser or dynamic microphone keeps its full quality on a phone or laptop.
Unlike the analogue Pre 2, the Pre HD connects digitally over USB or Lightning, which keeps the signal clean into the recording device. It is USB bus-powered on a computer, with two AA batteries needed only when +48 V phantom power is switched on, and a multicolour LED helps set the gain correctly.
Why Choose IK Multimedia iRig Pre HD Digital Microphone Interface?
This is the step up for creators who want studio-grade microphone sound without carrying a desktop interface: podcasters, singers, reporters and video makers recording on the move.
