Preamp sound and recording

With Vintage mode off, the two preamps record cleanly and neutrally, which suits spoken word, acoustic instruments and line-level sources such as synths. Switching Vintage mode on adds harmonic richness and gentle saturation modelled on tube circuitry, which helps vocals and direct-recorded guitars feel fuller before any plug-ins are added.
