Edifier X2S True Wireless Earbuds

The Edifier X2S are true wireless earbuds built around a large 13 mm dynamic driver, a size more often found in bigger, costlier earbuds. That driver is the reason for the X2S’s deep, confident bass, and Edifier wraps it in a feather-light earbud of just 3.6 grams, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, IP54 dust and water resistance, and a charging case that stretches total listening time to around 26 hours. This listing is the grey finish. For commuting, workouts, calls and everyday listening, the X2S cover the essentials properly rather than padding a feature list.

Key features

• 13 mm dynamic drivers tuned for deep bass
• Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC audio codec
• Up to 6.5 hours per charge, up to 26 hours total with the case
• AI environmental noise cancellation for clearer calls
• IP54 dust and water resistance for workouts and light rain
• Only 3.6 g per earbud for all-day wearing comfort
• USB Type-C charging and app support for custom sound

Sound from a bigger driver

Driver size matters most at low frequencies, where moving air is the whole job. The 13 mm driver in each X2S earbud moves more air than the smaller drivers typical in this class, giving bass lines and kick drums real weight while keeping vocals forward and intelligible. The 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and 94 dB sound pressure level mean the earbuds play cleanly at everyday volumes without strain. Through the Edifier app you can adjust the sound profile to taste, toning the low end down for podcasts or keeping the bass-forward tuning for electronic, hip-hop and film soundtracks.

Calls, latency and everyday use

AI environmental noise cancellation works on the microphone side, reducing wind and street noise so the person you are calling hears your voice instead of your surroundings. Bluetooth 5.3 keeps the connection stable around phones, tablets and laptops and sips power while doing it, and a low-latency game mode keeps audio and picture in step for video and mobile gaming. Touch controls on the earbuds handle playback and calls without reaching for your phone, useful on a train platform or mid-run.

Battery and charging

Expect up to 6.5 hours of listening from the earbuds themselves and up to 26 hours in total once case top-ups are counted, enough for several days of commuting between charges. The earbuds recharge in about 1.5 hours and the case in about 2 hours over USB Type-C, so the same cable that charges your phone tops up the X2S. The compact case, 56 x 47.4 x 25 mm, disappears into a pocket or gym bag, and the earbuds themselves measure just 32 x 18.2 x 17.2 mm each.

Fit and durability

At 3.6 grams per side, the X2S are easy to forget once seated, which is what you want from earbuds worn for hours. The IP54 rating guards against sweat, dust and splashes, so they handle workouts, dusty commutes and unexpected drizzle without drama. Choose the X2S if you want a light, bass-capable everyday earbud with honest battery life, clear calls and water resistance, in a smart grey finish that goes with everything.
