Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 (Graphite)

Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 (Graphite) – Flagship True Wireless Earbuds with Adaptive ANC

The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 in Graphite is the understated, professional finish of Sennheiser’s flagship earbud — and the most technically complete true wireless model the brand has produced. Its core is the 7 mm TrueResponse dynamic transducer, developed and tested at Sennheiser’s Tullamore facility in Ireland, voiced for the precision and clarity the MOMENTUM name stands for, with a full-bodied low end for music and film.

Everything around that driver is new. The earbuds use Bluetooth 6.0 with Snapdragon Sound, an adaptive hybrid noise cancelling system, Dolby Atmos optimisation with interactive head tracking, and a redesigned fin-less housing drawn from thousands of ear models. In a first for the series, the batteries in both the earbuds and the wireless charging case are user-replaceable, extending the useful life of the product well beyond a single battery cycle.

Performance for travel and office

Graphite is the finish that disappears into a work bag or a suit pocket, and the performance matches that brief. The adaptive hybrid ANC leans on a four-microphone array and an improved ear tip seal to quiet aircraft cabins, trains and open-plan offices, while the automatic anti-wind mode and micro-perforated microphone plate keep cancellation and call quality steady on windy platforms. Transparency mode is tuned to sound natural, so announcements and conversations come through without the processed edge of lesser earbuds.

Sound and spatial audio

The TrueResponse transducer balances remarkable detail against a bass-driven foundation, so acoustic recordings keep their texture and electronic tracks keep their drive. aptX Lossless delivers bit-perfect transmission from supported sources, and the low-latency mode suits gaming and video. Dolby Atmos content gains a theatre-like field through head tracking, which also works with regular stereo content. In the Smart Control Plus app, an 8-band EQ and guided Sound Personalization let you shape the result to your own hearing.

Endurance, fit and connectivity

Playback runs up to 12 hours on a charge, with over two further charges in the Qi-enabled case for up to 40 hours total. An 8-minute quick charge adds roughly an hour. The fin-less aerodynamic shape, rated more comfortable than the previous generation by 73 percent of testers, pairs with IP54 protection against dust, sweat and splashes. A resilient RF antenna and selectable robust mode hold the signal in crowded environments, and multipoint switching moves between laptop and phone without re-pairing.

For buyers who want the flagship specification without a shouty finish, Graphite is the one: reference-leaning Sennheiser sound, serious cancellation, spatial audio and a replaceable-battery design that respects the purchase for years.
