JBL Tune 310C USB-C Earphones – Blue

The JBL Tune 310C in blue is a wired in-ear earphone set that connects through USB-C. There is no battery to charge, no pairing step and no wireless latency: plug the connector into a compatible phone, tablet or computer and audio starts. JBL fits a 9mm dynamic driver tuned for JBL Pure Bass sound, Hi-Res Audio certification, a three-button remote with microphone, and selectable EQ presets, all on a flat cable designed to resist tangling.

• Three-button remote with built-in microphone
• EQ presets: Default, Bass and Vocal, selected from the remote
• Flat, tangle-resistant cable
• Lightweight at 14.3g, with three sizes of ear tips included

Sound performance

JBL Pure Bass tuning gives low frequencies extra weight while keeping vocals and dialogue clear, which suits music, films and classes alike. The published frequency response runs from 20Hz to 40kHz, the basis of the model’s Hi-Res Audio certification, with 16 ohm impedance and 98dB SPL sensitivity at 1kHz, so phones and laptops drive it easily without a separate amplifier. Because the connection is digital over USB-C, there is no dependence on a phone’s internal headphone-jack circuitry.

Remote, microphone and EQ

The in-line three-button remote adjusts volume, controls playback and answers calls without reaching for the device. The built-in microphone, rated at -42dBV/Pa sensitivity, handles phone calls, online meetings and voice notes. The same remote switches between the three EQ presets: Default for the standard tuning, Bass for more low-end emphasis, and Vocal for bringing speech and lyrics forward. That makes it easy to change character between music and a podcast or lecture.

Fit and daily use

At 14.3 grams the earphones are light enough for long listening sessions, commutes and desk work. Three sizes of ear tips are included, and choosing the size that seals properly improves both comfort and bass response while reducing outside noise passively. The flat cable resists knots in a pocket or bag and pulls free more easily than a round cable. There is no battery, so the earphones work whenever the device has power and never need a charging case.

Compatibility notes

The Tune 310C needs a device with a USB-C port that supports USB-C audio, which includes most current Android phones, USB-C iPhones and iPads, and many laptops and tablets. It does not connect directly to a 3.5mm headphone jack or a Lightning port. Check your device’s USB-C audio support if you are unsure, particularly with older tablets and computers.

For listeners who want wired reliability with modern USB-C devices, the JBL Tune 310C Blue combines a 9mm Pure Bass driver, Hi-Res certification, remote-controlled EQ and a tangle-resistant cable in a featherweight in-ear design.
