Behringer BB560M Headphone

Behringer BB560M Headphone

The Behringer BB 560M is a set of closed-back, over-ear Bluetooth headphones with a built-in microphone, made for people who both listen and talk for a living: DJs, broadcasters, podcasters, gamers and music-lab users. Behringer packages the two jobs into one headset — 40 mm dynamic drivers for monitoring and playback, and a super-sensitive microphone for voice — so a single pair covers playback, calls and recording checks without swapping gear.

The circumaural design wraps fully around the ear, and the closed back does two things at once: it keeps outside noise out of your listening, and it keeps your audio from leaking into the room — or into a live microphone nearby. Soft ear cups and a fully adjustable, cushioned headband are specified for long sessions, which is the right priority for a headset aimed at broadcast and lab work rather than short commutes.

Sound and drivers

The 40 mm dynamic drivers are rated for a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response with an 80 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 2 x 10 mW of audio output power. Behringer tunes the model for a full sound with deep, rich bass and detailed highs — a presentation that works for checking recordings as well as for everyday listening. Because the earcups seal around the ear, bass holds up at moderate volumes and fine detail is easier to hear in a noisy room than with an open design.

Wireless, wired and calls

Bluetooth V5.0 (Class 2, 2.402 to 2.480 GHz) pairs with phones, tablets, computers and USB Bluetooth adapters using the HFP, HSP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles, with SBC, MP3 and AAC decoding. Working range is up to 10 m in free space. When the battery runs down or a device has no Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm input keeps the headphones working as a wired pair. The built-in microphone, with its broad 100 Hz to 20 kHz response, is there for voice warmth and intelligibility on calls, streams and in-game chat, and the earcup controls handle answering, hanging up and redialling as well as music playback.

Battery and charging

The polymer lithium-ion battery (3.7 V, 185 mAh) runs for up to 7 hours after a full charge. Charging takes 2 to 3 hours from a computer USB port or a 5 V, 300 mA charger, through the micro USB port; a red and blue bi-colour LED shows charging and pairing status.

For DJs cueing tracks, podcasters checking their own voice, gamers who need chat and game audio in one headset, and labs that need one dependable model across many desks, the BB 560M is a practical, single purchase that covers listening and speaking together.
