Edifier G35 Pc Gaming Headset Hi-res Sound Quality Usb Over-ear Headphone With 7.1 Surrounding Sound, 50mm Hybrid Driver, Enc Noise Cancelling Mic, 16.8m Rgb Light For PC PS4 Mac Laptop Desktop Black

Edifier G35 Gaming Headset

The Edifier G35 is a wired USB gaming headset from the HECATE range, built around a 50 mm composite diaphragm dynamic driver and Hi-Res Audio certification. Its published frequency response runs from 20 Hz to 40 kHz, well beyond the range of a standard gaming headset, and the driver tuning aims for bass with weight that does not blur voices or bury the treble detail that carries positional cues in games.

Personalised 7.1 virtual surround sound, a detachable noise-reducing microphone, RGB lighting and a suspension-style fit complete a headset intended for long PC gaming sessions at a desk, in black with a hollow alloy-accented body.

Sound for games and music

The surround processing is tuned with competitive play in mind: low frequencies are given extra weight for explosions and impact, while the midrange and treble are emphasised for footsteps, reloads and directional effects, so the direction of a sound is easier to read. Through the Xear 2.0 software each surround channel can be adjusted individually, letting you build a soundstage that matches how you hear rather than accepting a fixed preset. The Hi-Res certified response also makes the G35 a credible music headset between matches.

Microphone and communication

The microphone detaches completely when you are listening rather than playing, and plugs back in for team sessions. It picks up voice from all directions at the tip with a sensitivity of -42 dB plus or minus 3 dB, and ENC processing works against keyboard noise, fan hum and room sound so callouts stay intelligible. Removing the microphone also makes the headset less obviously a gaming product for calls and everyday desk use.

Comfort and build

The headband and earcups use a separated, suspension-style arrangement Edifier calls 3D suspension earmuffs: the elliptical cups can adjust independently to the shape of your head and ears instead of clamping at a fixed angle. That matters in the third hour of a session. The hollow body keeps the structure light while the alloy elements give it stiffness, and the 2.5 m cable leaves freedom to sit back from the desk.

Lighting and connection

RGB rings on the earcups run gradient breathing effects across six colour groups in up to 16.8 million colours, matching the rest of a gaming setup. Connection is by USB, which carries the digital audio the surround processing and software features depend on, so the G35 is a PC-first headset for desktops and laptops.

For players who want certified high-resolution audio, tunable surround and a detachable ENC microphone in one USB headset, the G35 is the complete package in Edifier’s gaming line.
