Sonos Ace Wireless Headphones – White

Sonos Ace Wireless Headphones – White – Over-Ear Headphones with ANC and TV Audio Swap

The Sonos Ace in White — Sonos’s Soft White matte finish — is the company’s first headphone, bringing its signature sound to an over-ear design made for music, films and calls. Each cup holds a custom-designed 40 mm dynamic driver, and eight microphones manage noise control and voice targeting. The result is a premium wireless headphone that stands on its own merits, then goes further than rivals if your television already runs through a Sonos soundbar.

That extra step is TV Audio Swap: press the Content Key and TV sound transfers from a compatible Sonos soundbar to the Ace instantly. Combined with Dolby Atmos, dynamic head tracking and TrueCinema — which maps your room and renders a lifelike virtual surround field — the Ace turns late-night viewing into a private cinema session without disturbing anyone else in the house.

Listening experience

Sonos tunes the Ace for precision and clarity, with a sound that stays composed from low bass to fine detail. The Sonos app provides bass, treble and loudness adjustment, while spatial audio from supported services opens films and Atmos mixes into a three-dimensional stage that follows your head movements. ANC handles the drone of flights and the chatter of offices; Aware Mode is a button press away when you need the room back. For the highest fidelity, lossless playback is available over Bluetooth from supported devices or through a wired USB-C connection.

Everyday design and controls

The Soft White finish gives the Ace a clean, minimal look, set off by a contrasting detail that marks the right cup so orientation is instant. The build weighs 312 g, cushions are plush memory foam, and the controls are deliberately physical: slide the Content Key for volume, press for play, pause and calls, and use the Noise Control button to move between ANC and Aware Mode or summon a voice assistant. Playback pauses automatically when the headphones come off. A full charge takes roughly two hours, and multipoint Bluetooth keeps two devices connected at once.

Travel and home

The Ace travels in a slim case made from recycled materials, with a magnetically detachable pouch for the included USB-C and 3.5 mm cables — the latter ready for in-flight entertainment. At home, it pairs with the Sonos ecosystem through TV Audio Swap and TrueCinema, yet it never needs a Sonos system to justify itself: as a Bluetooth noise-cancelling headphone, it is complete out of the box.

In White, the Sonos Ace suits listeners who want their technology to look as calm as it sounds: long battery life, serious noise cancelling, lossless options and a home-cinema party trick in one refined package.
