One driver, reproduced faithfully

The IE 200 follows the philosophy of the IE 600 and IE 900 above it: one carefully engineered dynamic driver doing the whole job. Sennheiser’s TrueResponse transducer uses an extra-wide-band 7 mm diaphragm that covers 6 Hz to 20,000 Hz from a single point source, so bass, midrange and treble arrive in phase rather than being stitched together by a crossover network. Distortion is specified below 0.08 percent, and the sound pressure level reaches 119 dB at 1 kHz and 1 Vrms.
