Persang Aspire Plus PK-8161 Karaoke System

Persang Aspire Plus PK-8161 Karaoke System

The Persang Aspire Plus PK-8161 is a wired karaoke system built into a single microphone handset. The microphone is the system: a numeric keypad on the body selects songs directly by number, and the surrounding controls handle menu navigation, melody settings, favourites, song lists and playback, while the connected television shows the lyrics. It is karaoke in its simplest domestic form — plug into the TV, pick a song number, and sing.

Key features

• All-in-one wired karaoke microphone with the system built into the handset
• Direct numeric keypad for fast song selection by number
• Dedicated controls for menu, melody, record, favourites and song list
• Records your performances to an SD card
• Lyrics displayed on the connected TV
• Persang Karaoke — India’s dedicated karaoke specialist brand

How a session runs

There is no app to install and no subscription to manage. The handset connects to the television, the song library lives with the system, and singers choose tracks by entering their numbers — the same workflow Indian families have used with Persang systems for years, supported by the printed and digital songbooks the brand publishes for its catalogue. The favourites and list functions let regular singers keep their regular songs close at hand.

Recording your singing

The record function saves performances to the SD card — Persang documents recordings for the Aspire Plus under the card’s Karaoke/REC folder, from where files can be moved to a computer. It is a small feature that changes how the system gets used: practice takes can be reviewed, and family performances stop being purely ephemeral.

Who it suits

The Aspire Plus PK-8161 suits homes that want karaoke as an appliance rather than a project — family gatherings, singing practice for learners, and housing-society or community events where a TV is already present. Persang does not publish a detailed electrical specification sheet for this model, so this listing describes the system’s functions and controls rather than unverified figures; what defines the product is the handset-based workflow and the Persang song ecosystem around it.

The Persang ecosystem

Persang has built its name in India specifically on karaoke, and the Aspire Plus sits inside a wider ecosystem of songbooks, song cards and service support that generic karaoke microphones do not offer. Owners can look up song numbers in Persang’s published songbooks, add compatible song content as the brand releases it, and rely on a company whose entire business is this category. For families buying a system that will be used at every festival and birthday for years, that specialist backing — plus the simple wired reliability of the handset itself — is what separates the Aspire Plus from novelty karaoke toys.

For households that sing regularly, that adds up to a system that is always ready: no charging cycles to manage, no software updates, just a microphone, a television and a song number standing between the family and the next performance.
