Where most condenser microphones offer one or three polar patterns, the TLM 107 provides five: omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, and figure-eight. This range gives you the right tool for every recording situation. Use omnidirectional for ambient room capture and natural instrument miking. Engage wide cardioid for a singer who moves slightly. Select hypercardioid when maximum off-axis rejection is critical in a noisy environment. Choose figure-eight for M-S stereo recording or for capturing two performers face to face.
