Ultra Prolink Sonic Pro Dual Mic UM1214

Ultra Prolink Sonic Pro Dual Mic UM1214

The Ultra Prolink Sonic Pro UM1214 is a dual wireless lavalier microphone system built for phone-first creators: two clip-on transmitter microphones, one USB-C receiver, a Lightning adapter for older iPhones, and a tube-style charging case with an LCD battery display. It runs on 2.4 GHz wireless with automatic pairing and a genuinely plug-and-play workflow — plug the receiver into the phone, power the mics, and record. No app, no driver and no frequency scanning stands between unpacking the kit and shooting a two-person interview.

Two microphones change what a solo creator can shoot. A single-mic kit forces interviews into an awkward pass-the-mic routine or leaves the second voice thin and distant on the phone’s own microphone. With a transmitter on each speaker, both voices are captured at lapel distance at the same time, on the same recording, which is the format interviews, two-host podcasts, duo vlogs and presenter-plus-guest videos all need.

Key features

• Two wireless lavalier microphones working simultaneously into one receiver
• 2.4 GHz wireless with a range of up to 30 metres
• Up to 10 hours of recording per microphone, recharging in about 1.5 hours
• Three sound modes: Original Sound, AI Noise Reduction and Echo Reverb
• 360-degree omnidirectional pickup with dust-proof mesh
• USB-C receiver with pass-through charging for the host phone
• Tube-style charging case with LCD battery display
• Magnetic clips, automatic pairing and plug-and-play operation

Three modes for three kinds of location

The Sonic Pro’s built-in processing offers a mode for the situations creators actually meet. Original Sound captures the voice without processing, which is the right choice in a quiet room where nothing needs fixing. AI Noise Reduction is for the street, the exhibition floor and the café — it works to hold the voice clear while background noise is pushed down. Echo Reverb adds a deliberate reverberation effect, which belongs to singing, performance clips and creative pieces rather than speech. Switching modes on the microphone itself keeps the workflow inside the kit instead of inside an editing app, although heavy noise in a location will still reward choosing a quieter spot when one exists.

Power and the charging case

Each microphone is rated for up to 10 hours of use, which covers a full day of interviews or a long event without a mid-shoot charge, and the mics recharge in roughly 1.5 hours. The tube-style case carries and charges both microphones and shows remaining battery on its LCD display, so the state of the kit is visible at a glance rather than discovered when a mic dies on camera. The receiver also supports pass-through charging: the host phone can charge while the receiver is plugged in, which matters on long recording days when the phone, not the microphone, becomes the limiting battery.

Compatibility and wearing the mics

The USB-C receiver works directly with USB-C Android phones, iPhone 15 series and newer, USB-C iPads and tablets, and Windows and Mac computers. The included Lightning adapter extends the same kit to iPhone 14 and earlier models, so one system follows a creator through a phone upgrade. Each microphone picks up sound omnidirectionally through a dust-proof mesh, so placement is forgiving: clip it at the collar with the magnetic clip and it captures a natural voice whether the speaker turns their head or moves around the frame, within the 30-metre wireless range for walk-and-talk and outdoor pieces.

For creators whose work is two voices and a phone, the Sonic Pro UM1214 removes the usual friction of wireless audio — pairing, apps, cables and battery guesswork — and leaves a compact dual-mic kit that is ready when the conversation is.
