Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Pro ISO Live Production Switcher
Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Pro ISO Live Production Switcher
ATEM Mini Pro ISO is a live production switcher with 4 x HDMI inputs for a compatible HD camera and programme workflow. Why Choose ATEM Mini Pro ISO? The Pro ISO model adds separate recordings of the four HDMI inputs alongside the switched programme. A saved DaVinci Resolve project supports a later editing workflow. The unit still operates as an HD switcher; relinking supported original camera files for finishing does not mean that its HDMI inputs switch a native 4K live programme. Key Features – 4 HDMI video inputs. – Five video record streams: four inputs plus programme. – DaVinci Resolve project workflow. – Direct streaming and multiview. Best Suited For
Combining compatible cameras, computers and other sources into a live programme for events, teaching, interviews or streaming. Plan the input connector type and production resolution before counting cameras. An HDMI source and an SDI source may need a suitable converter to join the same system. Recording the finished programme differs from recording individual camera feeds, so select an ISO version when separate input files are required for later editing. Setup and Connection Guide
Connect supported video sources and a monitoring display with the equipment safely positioned and adequately ventilated. Set a compatible production standard and check every camera and computer input before going live. Configure audio levels, microphone or line-input settings and monitoring through the supported control software. For streaming, establish a stable network connection and enter the destination settings securely. For recording, use supported media with sufficient capacity and sustained write performance. Make a short test recording, replay it and verify synchronisation and sound. Label camera inputs and rehearse transitions. Keep a local operational plan for network interruptions; an internet connection and platform account are separate requirements. Frequently Asked Questions
Is ISO recording the same as native 4K live switching? No. ISO describes separate input recordings. The Mini Pro ISO production standards are HD; supported post-production relinking is a different workflow. Does an ISO version record the same thing as programme-only recording? No. ISO recording adds separate input recordings for editing, subject to the specific model and media requirements. Programme recording saves the live switched result. Does a USB-C connector automatically mean Thunderbolt or 4K video support? No. Connector shape does not establish the protocol or supported picture format. Use the exact model specification for each port and production mode. Technical Specifications Specification
