Digitek DRL-18RT C9 18-Inch LED Ring Light with Remote Control and 250cm Stand

Digitek DRL-18RT C9 18-Inch LED Ring Light with Remote Control and 250cm Stand

The Digitek DRL-18RT C9 is an 18-inch LED ring light supplied as a combo pack with a 250cm light stand, a wireless remote control and a smartphone grip. It is built for creators who need soft, even, shadow-free light on the face for makeup work, portrait and product photography, video shoots, live streaming and vlogging. With a 60W output and 5400 LM illumination, it gives a large, flattering light source that keeps skin tones looking natural on camera.

Why Choose Digitek DRL-18RT C9?

A ring light works by surrounding the camera or phone with light, so shadows fall behind the subject instead of across the face. The large 18-inch ring on this model spreads light more evenly than a small clip-on light, and the included 250cm stand lifts it to a proper working height for seated or standing shoots. The wireless remote means brightness and colour temperature can be adjusted without walking up to the light mid-take, which matters when the camera is already rolling.

Key Features

The Digitek DRL-18RT C9 is controlled from its wireless remote or its rear panel, and its headline features are:

• 18-inch ring: large 46cm ring for soft, even facial lighting with minimal harsh shadows.
• 60W output, 5400 LM: bright illumination that holds up for video and photography work.
• Adjustable colour temperature: dual colour temperature from 2700K to 5600K, from warm indoor tones to daylight.
• Wireless remote control: adjust brightness and colour temperature from the shooting position.
• 250cm stand included: three-section stand with flip locks and shock-absorption springs, rated up to 5kg.
• Flexible mounting: 360-degree rotatable smartphone holder, hot shoe adapter and 1/4-inch mounting thread.

Best Suited For

The Digitek DRL-18RT C9 suits makeup artists, beauty and fashion creators, YouTubers, live streamers, online tutors and small studios shooting portraits or products. It is equally at home in a home studio corner as in a salon or a small commercial shoot, and the AC-powered design suits fixed setups where the light stays in one place for long sessions.

Setup and Connection Guide

To set up the Digitek DRL-18RT C9, extend the 250cm stand, lock its three sections with the flip locks, and mount the ring on the stand head. Fit the smartphone grip or hot shoe adapter in the centre of the ring, connect the AC adapter, and switch the ring on. Use the remote to set brightness and colour temperature: start near the middle of the brightness range, match the colour temperature to the room light, then fine-tune while watching the camera preview. Keep the ring centred on the camera lens for the classic catchlight, and move it closer for softer light or further back for a crisper look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the DRL-18RT C9 the same as the DRL-18RT?

No. The Digitek DRL-18RT C9 is the combo version of the 18-inch ring light: it is the variant sold with the 250cm light stand, and its listed price and pack contents differ from the ring-only DRL-18RT. Check the stand inclusion before ordering if a stand is needed.

Does it run on batteries?

No. This combo runs on AC power through the included adapter, with a USB output on the unit. That makes it ideal for studio and indoor sessions, but it is not a battery-powered location light.

Will it hold a camera as well as a phone?

The Digitek DRL-18RT C9 centre mount carries a smartphone grip and a hot shoe adapter for a camera accessory shoe, and the stand is rated up to 5kg. A full camera body should be mounted on its own tripod rather than hung from the ring mount.
