JVC PK-L2615U Projector Lamp for DLA-X7000
The PK-L2615U is JVC’s genuine replacement lamp unit for its D-ILA home theatre projectors, including the DLA-X7000 named in this listing. Inside is a 265 W NSH ultra-high pressure mercury lamp – the same lamp the projector was designed and calibrated around – supplied as a complete unit with the lamp pre-fitted in its housing.
Lamp output falls gradually over a lamp’s life: colours drift, brightness drops and the image loses the contrast that makes D-ILA projectors worth owning. JVC rates the average usable life of this lamp at approximately 4,500 hours in Low lamp mode. When the projected image looks dark, the colour tone appears unnatural or the picture flickers, the lamp is at the end of its life and replacement restores the projector’s original performance.

Compatibility
JVC specifies this lamp for the DLA-X5900, DLA-X7900 and DLA-X9900, the DLA-RS400, RS500 and RS600 series and their successor generations (RS420, RS520, RS620 and RS440, RS540, RS640), as well as the X5000/X7000/X9000 generation. Lamps with a different product number, or made for other models, cannot be used – check the lamp product number in your projector’s manual before ordering.
Replacing the lamp
Let the projector cool completely before starting – the lamp operates at high temperature and pressure. Work on a clean surface, avoid touching the lamp glass with bare fingers, and keep the removed lamp away from children; dispose of it as fluorescent-lamp waste under local regulations. After fitting the new unit, reset the lamp time counter in the projector’s menu so the projector tracks the new lamp’s hours correctly.
