BenQ V5000I 4K UHD RGB Laser Ultra Short Throw Projector

BenQ V5000i 4K UHD RGB Laser Ultra Short Throw Projector – Laser TV, BenQ Style

The V5000i is BenQ’s ultra-short-throw laser TV for living rooms that want cinema size without cinema infrastructure. Sitting on a console inches from the wall, its fixed 0.25:1 lens throws a 100-inch-class 4K UHD image from an RGB triple-laser light source rated at 2,500 ANSI lumens. Android TV is built in, HDR support is standard, and the laser engine promises years of operation without a lamp change – the television replacement formula, executed with BenQ’s colour-science discipline behind it.

Key features

• 4K UHD resolution for true big-screen detail
• RGB triple-laser light source with wide DCI-P3 colour coverage
• 2,500 ANSI lumens for living-room viewing
• 0.25:1 ultra short throw – 100-inch class images from inches away
• HDR-PRO tone mapping with HDR10 and HLG support
• Android TV built in for apps, casting and voice search
• Long-life laser light source – no lamp replacements
• Console-top placement with no ceiling mount or long cable runs

Triple laser, primary by primary

RGB laser engines generate their primaries directly, rather than filtering them out of white light. The dividend is colour gamut: the V5000i reaches deep into the DCI-P3 space that 4K HDR films are graded in, holding saturated reds and greens that single-laser designs desaturate. BenQ’s HDR-PRO tone mapping then shapes that colour and contrast frame by frame for the projector’s actual brightness, which is the discipline that separates laser TVs that impress in demos from ones that satisfy for years.

The living-room installation that isn’t one

Place the unit on the media console, position an ambient-light-rejecting screen (the natural partner at this size), connect power – the installation is finished. Nobody crosses the beam, no projector hangs over the sofa, and the room stays a living room when the screen is off. For apartments and rented homes where ceiling work is unwelcome, UST is not a compromise; it is the enabler.

Smart platform, external sources welcome

Android TV covers streaming, casting and voice control out of the box, while HDMI inputs welcome disc players, consoles and set-top boxes for owners with existing systems. The laser source holds its brightness across years of evenings, where a lamp projector would be dimming toward its first replacement.

For the household that has decided the next television should be a hundred inches, the V5000i is where BenQ’s laser TV range begins.
