Epson EpiqVision Mini EF-12 Smart Laser Projector

Epson EpiqVision Mini EF-12 Smart Laser Projector

The Epson EpiqVision Mini EF-12 Smart Laser Projector is a compact smart laser projector that turns any room into a cinema, with built-in Android TV and sound by Yamaha. The Epson EpiqVision Mini EF-12 Smart Laser Projector delivers Full HD 1920 x 1080 laser projection at 1,000 lumens, with images from 30 to 150 inches, all from a small cube that weighs just 2.1 kg. Switch it on, and streaming apps, Chromecast and voice control are ready without a separate player.

Why Choose Epson EpiqVision Mini EF-12 Smart Laser Projector?

Portability plus smart content is the appeal: carry it room to room, point it at a wall, and the auto picture skew and focus correction squares the image with minimal fuss. The Epson EpiqVision Mini EF-12 Smart Laser Projector pairs that ease with Yamaha-tuned stereo sound from two 5 W drivers in a custom acoustic enclosure, so a separate soundbar is optional rather than essential. The laser source lasts up to 20,000 hours.

Key Features

• Built-in Android TV: stream apps directly, with Chromecast built in and Google Assistant voice control

• Compact 2.1 kg cube: 175 x 175 x 135 mm approx., with HDMI ARC, USB and audio out

Best Suited For

The Epson EpiqVision Mini EF-12 Smart Laser Projector is best suited for living rooms, bedrooms, small home cinemas, terrace movie nights and portable use between rooms. It fits buyers who want a simple streaming projector without a separate player or soundbar, and rooms where a big TV is impractical.

Setup and Connection Guide

Place the projector 1.33 metres from the wall for a 60-inch image or further back for up to 150 inches, connect power, and let auto focus and auto keystone square the picture. Sign in to Android TV over Wi-Fi, pair the voice remote, and connect a soundbar over HDMI ARC or the audio output if more sound is wanted. For a fixed setup, ceiling-mount it and feed it from a media player over HDMI.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the EF-12 need an external streaming device?

No. The Epson EpiqVision Mini EF-12 Smart Laser Projector has Android TV built in, plus Chromecast, so streaming apps run directly on the projector.

How bright is 1,000 lumens in practice?

It suits dimmed rooms and evening viewing best; 1,000 lumens with 3LCD colour brightness gives a vivid picture up to 150 inches in controlled light, but it is not a bright-room projector.

What sound does it have?

Sound by Yamaha: two 5 W stereo drivers in a custom acoustic enclosure, with HDMI ARC and audio out for external sound systems.
