Ahuja RMS SRX-200 Speaker

Ahuja SRX-200 PA Speaker (200W RMS)

The Ahuja SRX-200 is a professional 2-way PA speaker system rated at 200 W RMS, built for the halls, events and live sound work where speech and music must reach a room full of people clearly. It combines a 12-inch full-range dual-cone driver with a piezo horn tweeter in an acoustically treated bass-reflex enclosure, and its 97 dB sensitivity means it produces serious level from modest amplifier power — the efficiency that matters in real Indian installations.

The enclosure is 18 mm board with a carpet finish, the traditional PA construction that tolerates transport, stacking and daily handling, and a stand-mount adapter is included so the cabinet goes straight onto a standard speaker stand. It is a working speaker for working venues: school and community halls, houses of worship, wedding and event setups, coaching and training spaces, and rental inventories.

Why sensitivity matters

Two speakers of the same wattage rating can differ enormously in loudness. At 97 dB sensitivity, the SRX-200 converts amplifier watts into sound efficiently, so a mid-sized Ahuja amplifier drives a hall properly instead of straining at its limit. For speech — announcements, sermons, teaching — that efficiency shows up as intelligibility at the back row, which is the entire purpose of a PA speaker.

System building

Use one cabinet for small halls and meetings, a pair on stands for stereo music and larger rooms, and more boxes as the venue grows; the SRX-200 pairs naturally with Ahuja’s mixer amplifiers and power amplifiers across the range. Set the amplifier’s output to match the speaker load as marked, keep cables sensibly gauged for the run length, and elevate the cabinets so the tweeters clear the audience’s heads.

Build and duty

The carpet-finished board cabinet shrugs off the scratches that destroy glossy finishes, the drivers are protected behind the grille, and the whole unit is serviceable through Ahuja’s nationwide channels — the reason Ahuja speakers stay in venues for decades.

For a hall or event system that must be loud, clear and dependable, the SRX-200 is the value anchor of Ahuja’s PA range.

Ownership notes

PA speakers in working venues earn simple care: keep the grille clear of dust, check cable connections before events, and store the cabinets dry between hires. The carpet finish can be vacuumed back to respectability indefinitely. Ahuja’s parts and service availability across India means a damaged driver is a repair, not a replacement — a significant part of the total cost story for schools, halls and rental businesses that run these speakers for decades.
