Description
Edifier D32 Brown Tabletop Wireless Speaker
The Edifier D32 Brown is a 60W RMS tabletop wireless speaker in a warm brown wooden cabinet, with Hi-Res wireless audio and an 11-hour built-in battery It is made for listeners who want a straightforward, reliable upgrade without a complicated setup, and it fits naturally into a home desk, living room or studio routine.
Why Choose Edifier D32 Brown?
Two silk dome tweeters and a long-throw mid-low driver give the speaker genuine stereo presence from a single compact box, while Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC and AirPlay 2 over Wi-Fi cover both Android and Apple listening. The built-in battery means it can move from desk to living room to balcony without hunting for a socket.
Buyers choose this model because it keeps the everyday experience simple: connect a source, set a comfortable level and listen. There is no separate amplifier to match, no complex menu to learn, and the controls stay within easy reach during normal use.
Key Features of Edifier D32 Brown
- 60W RMS total output: Dual 1-inch silk dome tweeters plus a 4-inch long-throw mid-low driver.
- Hi-Res wireless audio: LDAC Bluetooth and 24-bit/96kHz digital audio processing.
- AirPlay 2 over Wi-Fi: Multi-room playback from Apple devices on dual-band Wi-Fi.
- 11-hour battery playback: Built-in 5,200mAh battery for a full day of listening away from mains power.
- Retro piano-key controls: Handmade wooden case with accordion-style keys and the Edifier ConneX app.
Best Suited For
The speaker suits desk and bedroom listening, small living rooms, and buyers who want one attractive box for music, podcasts and TV sound without a separates system.
Setup and Connection Guide
Charge the speaker fully, then pair by Bluetooth, connect over Wi-Fi for AirPlay 2, or use USB-C or AUX for a wired source. Use the piano-key controls or the Edifier ConneX app to switch inputs, adjust volume and set sound effects, and keep the speaker within normal Wi-Fi and Bluetooth range of the source.
Looking after this kind of gear is mostly about simple habits: keep it dry and out of direct heat, wipe dust from vents and grilles with a soft dry cloth, and store cables loosely coiled rather than sharply bent. Avoid dropping the unit, and keep it away from liquids, since water and impact damage are the most common causes of avoidable faults.
Sound quality also depends on the source and the room. A well-recorded track or a good stream at a higher quality setting will sound noticeably better than a low-bitrate file, and placing a speaker away from a wall corner usually gives a cleaner, less boomy balance. Small adjustments to placement and volume often make a bigger difference than any single setting.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the D32 need to stay plugged in?
No, the built-in battery gives up to 11 hours of playback, and it can also play while charging.
What is the difference between the D32 Brown and D32 Black?
Both share the same 60W sound and features; only the cabinet finish differs, with warm brown wood here and Black Walnut on the Black version.
Can two D32 speakers pair in stereo?
Pairing behaviour depends on the app and firmware for the exact model; check the Edifier ConneX app for stereo-pairing support before buying two for that purpose.
