Marshall Middleton Ii Bluetooth Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Over 30 Hours Playtime, IP67 Waterproof – Cream

Marshall Middleton II – Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Rock Heritage

The Marshall Middleton II is the second generation of Marshall's mid-size portable Bluetooth speaker, refined and improved to deliver an even more impressive audio performance while retaining the iconic Marshall aesthetic that has made the brand synonymous with rock and roll since the 1960s. Larger and louder than the Marshall Emberton II yet more portable than the Marshall Woburn, the Middleton II occupies the sweet spot for listeners who want serious sound output in a speaker they can take anywhere. Whether you are hosting a backyard gathering, camping in the wilderness, or filling a hotel room with music, the Middleton II delivers with authority and style.

Multi-Directional Sound with Four Drivers

The Marshall Middleton II employs a quad-driver system comprising two tweeters and two woofers arranged to deliver Marshall's signature multi-directional sound radiation pattern. Rather than projecting audio in a single forward direction, the speaker distributes sound both forward and to the sides, creating a spacious and enveloping listening experience that fills a room more naturally than conventional mono-directional Bluetooth speakers. The dual woofers work together to produce bass response that is surprising in its depth and impact for a speaker of this size, while the tweeters ensure that high-frequency detail and vocal clarity remain present even at high volume levels.

Marshall Signature Sound with EQ Controls

What distinguishes Marshall from other portable speaker brands is the availability of physical EQ controls on the speaker itself. The Middleton II features Marshall's classic stack-inspired knobs for treble and bass adjustment, allowing you to tailor the sound character to your musical preferences and listening environment without needing to reach for your smartphone. Boost the bass for hip-hop and electronic music, or pull it back for a more balanced acoustic presentation. This hands-on approach to sound customisation is a direct nod to the amplifier controls that define Marshall's heritage in guitar amplification.

IP67 Weatherproofing and Durability

The Marshall Middleton II carries an IP67 rating, meaning it is fully dustproof and can be submerged in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes. This level of protection makes the speaker genuinely suitable for outdoor use in all weather conditions, including use by the pool or in the rain. The rugged construction uses Marshall's characteristic black vinyl covering with metal grille and brass hardware, creating a look that is simultaneously retro and modern. The rubber feet provide stability on smooth surfaces and the overall build quality conveys the durability expected from a professional audio brand.

Battery Life and Connectivity

The Middleton II delivers up to 20 hours of battery life per charge at moderate listening volumes, with a USB-C charging port for convenient recharging. Bluetooth 5.1 ensures a stable connection with a range of up to 10 metres from the source device. The speaker supports Bluetooth multipoint, allowing connection to two devices simultaneously, and Marshall's Stack Mode feature allows two Marshall Bluetooth speakers to be connected together for stereo or party mode output. A 3.5mm auxiliary input is also provided for wired connections from non-Bluetooth sources.
