MX 3815 15-Inch Portable Trolley Speaker with Dual Wireless Microphones

MX 3815 15-Inch Portable Trolley Speaker with Dual Wireless Microphones

The MX 3815 Trolley Speaker is the large-format member of the MX trolley family, built around a 15-inch subwoofer with a double tweeter and rated at 125 watts RMS. It is made for open areas and large rooms where smaller trolley speakers run out of headroom: community functions, school grounds, terrace parties, small wedding venues and outdoor announcements. The cabinet still rolls on a trolley handle and wheels, but buyers should expect a full-size speaker, not a carry-in-one-hand box.

Karaoke is the MX 3815 Trolley Speaker home ground. Two wireless UHF microphones are included, there is an additional wired microphone slot, and the panel gives separate microphone echo control and microphone volume control alongside music volume and bass and treble controls. A built-in USB MP3 player handles backing tracks, and a recording function can record voice, speech or songs to a USB drive or TF card, which is handy for school events, speeches and practice sessions that need to be kept.

Why Choose MX 3815 15-Inch Portable Trolley Speaker with Dual Wireless Microphones?

The MX 3815 Trolley Speaker earns its place when the audience is large or outdoors. A 15-inch driver moves far more air than an 8-inch or 10-inch unit, so bass stays present at the back of a lawn or a hall without pushing the amplifier into harsh distortion. The double tweeter helps speech stay intelligible at distance, which matters as much as music for announcements, prayers, school assemblies and election-style public meetings.

Battery life is also planned for real events: MX MDR Electronics lists 4 to 5 hours of playback from the built-in rechargeable battery. That covers most functions without a generator or a long extension lead, although, as with every battery speaker, very high volumes shorten the backup and mains power remains the right choice for all-day use.

• Karaoke controls: microphone echo control and microphone volume control, with music volume and bass and treble controls for balancing voice against backing tracks.
• USB recording function: a built-in USB MP3 player that can also record voice, speech or songs to a USB drive or TF card.

Best Suited For

The MX 3815 Trolley Speaker suits event organisers, schools, community and religious venues, wedding and birthday hosts with outdoor space, and small PA rental setups. It is the right choice when the audience is spread across a lawn, a large hall or a street-facing area, and when two singers or speakers need wireless microphones at the same time.

Setup and Connection Guide

1. Place the speaker facing the audience, raised slightly if possible, and keep the wireless microphones away from the front grille to reduce feedback.
2. Charge fully before the function, and for events longer than a few hours, plan a mains point nearby even though the battery covers 4 to 5 hours at moderate volume.
3. Pair a phone over Bluetooth for music, or load backing tracks on a USB drive or memory card and select the USB source on the panel.
4. Set microphone echo and volume for each singer separately, then bring the music level up underneath the voice rather than over it.
5. To record a speech or a performance, insert a USB drive or TF card, start the recording function as described in the manual, and test a few seconds before the main programme.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the MX 3815 Trolley Speaker too big for home use?

For a small room, yes, a 15-inch cabinet is more than needed and an 8-inch or 10-inch trolley speaker will be easier to live with. The 3815 is aimed at large rooms, terraces and outdoor functions where its output is actually used.

How many microphones can be used at once?

Two wireless UHF microphones are included, and there is an additional wired microphone slot, so three voices can be connected for group singing, panel discussions or compèring with guests.

Can it record a speech?

Yes. The built-in USB MP3 player includes a recording function that records voice, speech or songs to a USB drive or TF card, subject to having a suitable card or drive inserted.
