Edifier B700 Dolby Atmos Speaker System – 5.1.2 Soundbar With Wireless Subwoofer, Black

Edifier B700 — Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and HDMI eARC
The Edifier B700 is Edifier's flagship home theatre soundbar system — a certified Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 5.1.2 channel audio setup that brings genuine three-dimensional cinematic sound to your living room. Unlike basic soundbars that merely simulate surround sound through digital processing, the B700 features dedicated upward-firing height speakers that bounce sound off the ceiling to create authentic overhead audio — the defining characteristic of true Dolby Atmos immersive audio. With 175W of total system power, a wireless subwoofer for deep bass, HDMI eARC for lossless audio passthrough from modern TVs, and Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD, the B700 is a complete home theatre audio solution for Indian households at MRP Rs. 79,990. Key Features – Dolby Atmos Certified: Official Dolby Atmos certification ensures authentic three-dimensional audio processing — not simulated surround, but real height channel immersion. – DTS:X Certified: Full DTS:X object-based audio support alongside Dolby Atmos for complete compatibility with all Blu-ray and streaming content formats. – 5.1.2 Channel Configuration: Five main channels (left, centre, right, left surround, right surround), one subwoofer channel, and two upward-firing height channels for full Atmos object placement. – HDMI eARC: Enhanced Audio Return Channel via HDMI enables lossless Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio passthrough from compatible smart TVs — the highest quality audio connection available. – Wireless Subwoofer: No bass cable running across your living room — the subwoofer connects wirelessly for clean installation in any room configuration. – Upward-Firing Height Speakers: Physical upward-firing drivers — not virtual height simulation — create authentic Dolby Atmos height channels by reflecting audio off the ceiling. – 175W Total Power: Substantial total system power for large Indian living rooms where the soundbar must project audio across significant distances. Sound Performance
The B700 delivers a genuinely transformative home theatre audio experience. Dolby Atmos content — available on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and Blu-ray discs — is decoded by the B700 into 5.1.2 channels of audio with object-based spatial positioning. A helicopter in an action film does not just pan left to right — it sweeps from the floor level, rises above the listener, and passes overhead, tracked by the upward-firing height speakers bouncing sound off the ceiling. The wireless subwoofer adds the physical bass impact that makes action sequences, car chases, and musical performances feel immersive and present. The HDMI eARC connection from a compatible Sony, LG, Samsung, or other smart TV passes Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio in lossless quality — the same audio that plays in the cinema. DTS:X provides equivalent object-based immersion for DTS-encoded content, ensuring no compatibility gaps. Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD enables music streaming from smartphones with high-quality wireless audio when the TV is not in use. Design & Build Quality
The B700 soundbar measures 850mm in length — appropriate for TVs 65 inches and above, though functional with TVs from 55 inches upward. The clean black design is TV-stand neutral, sitting naturally in front of any flat-screen television. The upward-firing speaker ports are integrated into the soundbar body without visual disruption. The wireless subwoofer is finished in matching black and sized for floor placement beside the TV furniture. The HDMI eARC port, USB, optical input, and Bluetooth antenna are all rear-panel mounted for a clean front-facing installation. The overall system design is professional and premium without unnecessary ornamentation — a soundbar that should be heard, not just seen. Connectivity & Compatibility
The HDMI eARC input is the primary connection method and supports the highest quality audio formats: Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos (object-based), DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS:X — everything you find on 4K Blu-ray discs and premium streaming service audio tracks. An additional HDMI input accepts a source directly (gaming console, Blu-ray player, streaming stick). Optical digital input provides backward compatibility with older TVs without eARC. Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD manages music streaming. The wireless subwoofer connection is automatic and reliable — no manual pairing required after initial setup. The B700 is compatible with all major Indian streaming services including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and Apple TV+ when those services deliver Dolby Atmos tracks. The universal AC 100-240V power supply is India-standard compatible. Technical Specifications Specification
