Wall Mount for Sonos Beam Soundbar (Black)

This is a third-party metal wall mounting bracket made to fit the Sonos Beam soundbar (Gen 1 and Gen 2). It is not a Sonos product. The bracket holds the Beam flat against the wall at a fixed position, freeing the shelf or cabinet below the television and giving the soundbar a built-in look. It is finished in black metal, rated to hold up to 22 lb — comfortably above the weight of the soundbar — and it leaves about 1 inch of clearance between the soundbar and the wall for cables and connectors.

Compatibility — read before fitting

The bracket is shaped and drilled for one soundbar family only: the Sonos Beam, first and second generation. It does not fit the Sonos Ray, the Sonos Arc or the Sonos Playbar, which are different sizes with different mounting points. Confirm the model printed on your soundbar before installation. Because this is a Beam-only bracket, the mounting points align with the Beam’s own fixing points and the soundbar sits flush and level, rather than resting on a generic shelf or ledge.

Position and sound

Wall mounting puts the Beam at the height the room needs — typically directly above or below the television, centred on the screen — and removes it from furniture that can rattle or block the ends of the soundbar. The fixed 1 inch clearance keeps connectors and cables from being crushed against the wall while keeping the installation visually tight, and the cutout in the back of the bracket lets the power cord, HDMI lead and any network cable pass through and drop behind the installation instead of trailing across the wall.

Installation notes

Installation follows the usual wall-bracket routine: choose the position and check for pipes and hidden wiring, mark the fixing holes with a spirit level, drill, fit the supplied anchors suited to the wall, fix the bracket firmly, then attach the Beam with the two soundbar screws. Solid masonry and stud walls give the most secure fixing; for hollow or weak walls, use anchors appropriate to the wall construction. The whole job uses only the hardware in the kit plus a drill and a level.

If your Beam currently sits on a cabinet and you want it on the wall — centred under the television, clear of the furniture, with its cables routed out of sight — this bracket is the single-purpose part that does it, provided your soundbar is a Beam Gen 1 or Gen 2.
