Pure Acoustics RIFT 08 5.1 In-Wall Home Cinema Speaker Package — a matched 5.1 in-wall speaker package from Pure Acoustics, sold as one bundle. AV receiver required, not included.
Pure Acoustics RIFT 08 5.1 In-Wall Home Cinema Speaker Package
The Pure Acoustics RIFT 08 5.1 In-Wall Home Cinema Speaker Package is a flush in-wall 5.1 system built around a simple idea: the front three speakers should be identical. Three RIFT F8C dual-woofer in-wall units form the left, centre and right channels, a pair of RIFT F8 single-woofer in-wall speakers covers the surrounds, and a powered SuperNova SN10 subwoofer adds the low end. The five wall speakers sit inside the wall with only slim white magnetic grilles visible, so the room keeps a clean look with no speaker cabinets on the floor. The subwoofer is the one freestanding unit in the set. An AV receiver is required and is not included.
Why Choose Pure Acoustics RIFT 08 5.1 In-Wall Home Cinema Speaker Package?
Choosing the Pure Acoustics RIFT 08 5.1 In-Wall Home Cinema Speaker Package means the front stage is genuinely matched: the same dual-woofer LCR unit plays left, centre and right, so dialogue and effects keep the same character as they move across the screen. The surrounds use the same 8-inch woofer family in a single-woofer layout, and the powered subwoofer handles bass that no in-wall speaker can reproduce on its own. Everything runs from a standard 5.1 AV receiver, and everything except the subwoofer disappears into the wall.
Key Features
Three dual-woofer LCR units: Each RIFT F8C uses two 8-inch fibreglass woofers and a 1-inch tweeter in a 3-way in-wall layout, rated 150W, so the left, centre and right channels carry equal weight behind the screen wall.
Single-woofer surrounds: Each RIFT F8 uses one 8-inch fibreglass woofer and a 1-inch tweeter in a 2-way in-wall layout, rated 135W, for a full surround field that matches the front stage.
Powered 10-inch subwoofer: The SuperNova SN10’s built-in amplifier and adjustable 40 Hz to 180 Hz crossover supply the bass that in-wall speakers cannot produce on their own.
Flush, paintable finish: All five wall speakers use ultra-thin white magnetic grilles that sit flush and can be painted to match the wall, so the system disappears once fitted.
One matched 8-ohm family: All five in-wall speakers are 8 ohms nominal, pairing cleanly with any standard 5.1 AV receiver.
Best Suited For
The Pure Acoustics RIFT 08 5.1 In-Wall Home Cinema Speaker Package suits living rooms, media rooms and new fit-outs where speakers should disappear into the walls, and rooms where floor space is tight. It fits buyers building a home theatre during renovation, since in-wall speakers are best fitted while walls are open or being finished, and viewers who want the front three channels to be identical rather than a smaller centre under a pair of towers.
Setup and Connection Guide
Plan the layout before cutting: the three RIFT F8C units go in the front wall at left, centre and right (the centre horizontal below the screen, the left and right vertical), and the RIFT F8 pair in the side or rear walls slightly behind the main seat, using the cutout sizes (F8C: 535 x 232 mm; F8: 327 x 232 mm). Run speaker cable from a 5.1-channel AV receiver to each in-wall unit, fit the magnetic grilles, and paint them to match the wall if desired. Connect the SN10 to the receiver’s subwoofer output with an RCA cable, place it near the front wall, and run the receiver’s room calibration to blend it with the wall speakers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this package include an AV receiver?
No. The package contains the five in-wall speakers and the powered subwoofer only. A 5.1-channel AV receiver is required and is sold separately.
Are the front three speakers really identical?
Yes. The RIFT F8C is an LCR design, so the same dual-woofer unit is used for left, centre and right — the centre mounts horizontally below the screen while the left and right mount vertically, which is why the package counts three identical units.
Can in-wall speakers be fitted in an existing room?
Yes, provided the wall has cavity depth for the speaker (110 mm for both the F8C and the F8) and cable can be routed to the receiver. Installation is easiest during renovation, when walls are open.
